2011 Creative Writing Workshops Registration Bogotá

The Mayor of Bogota by the Ministry of Culture, Recreation and Sport and the District Institute of Arts, invites writers, literary scholars, teachers, journalists and others interested in literary creation to participate in creative writing workshops in fiction Bogotá, Story and Chronicle of 2011, taking place from April to October, with a frequency of three sessions per week and intensity of four hours each.

These workshops aim to: encourage the literary production of new authors, transmit theoretical and practical tools for developing creative writing process and explore the keys to writing through readings, workshop exercises and confrontation with qualified readers.

● To Story and Chronicle: autobiography narrative to indicate their academic, labor, literary and why you think should be selected for the workshop (maximum 2,000 characters, Times New Roman, size 12, double space format, letter.) ● To

novel: Narrative of a situation or a fragment of a chapter of his novel (maximum 2,000 characters, Times New Roman, size 12, double spaced, letter size).

● Each of the three writers responsible for coordinating the workshops will make the selection of 60 participants of the workshops, 20 per workshop.

writers responsible for coordinating the workshops are:

CHRONICLE. Martha Cecilia Ruiz Naranjo. Journalist at the University of Antioquia with expertise in Political Studies at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. The Editorial Advisory week.
